A drone photo shown at the meeting illustrated the scale of the tennis-court and parking work near the existing baseball and tennis facilities. Staff said recent weather allowed steady progress and that utility-service arrangements remain under negotiation because the property sits on the service boundary between two providers (9Star and Greenfield Power and Light). City officials and district representatives have been discussing which provider will serve the site.

Childcare site and open house: Staff said the Green Meadows property renovation for early-childhood services has advanced to the point of near completion. Exterior asphalt and sidewalks are in place, interior flooring and finishes are nearly complete, and the district planned an open-house event for Thursday, July 24. Staff invited board members to attend.

Dance studio conversion: The former scene-prep and storage area behind the old auditorium has been converted into a dance studio and storage space for performing-arts groups. Staff said the space was aligned with gym spacing to help performers transition between rooms and that community feedback has been positive.

Why it matters: The projects support extracurricular, early-childhood and facilities needs for the district and were funded through previously approved capital authority. Utility and infrastructure coordination will continue as crews complete remaining site work.

Board action: Informational update; staff requested no vote. Board members thanked staff and noted community satisfaction with the completed dance studio.
