Board engages Hofstadter for 2022 CDBG engineering and approves 2026 SPLOST list after clerical correction

On the SPLOST item, the minutes state the previously adopted project list had a clerical error in the county’s portion; the draft presented at the meeting resolved that error. Commissioner Luke Gowen asked where funding for the road department would come from to offset a shortfall in SPLOST allocations. County Administrator Hull listed several potential funding sources, including LMIG (Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant), LRA, TSPLOST, Safety LMIG and CDBG.
