The Charlton County Board of Commissioners on June 5 authorized County Administrator Glenn Hull to execute an amended agreement with Maverick that extends the scope of the metal building for Fire Station #4. The minutes say the amendment expands the scope of a metal building originally agreed on November 21, 2024, and that the county is conducting a Request for Qualifications for design-build teams for these projects. Commissioner Jesse Crews moved to authorize Hull to execute the amended agreement; Commissioner James Everett seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. No dollar amount for the amendment or schedule for construction was recorded in the minutes.
