At the Canton ISD Board of Trustees meeting on June 16, Superintendent Dr. Brian Nichols presented preliminary 2025 A-F data and a summary of district operations for the summer and coming school year. The district’s enrollment at the end of the 2024–25 school year was 2,263, down from 2,314 at the end of 2023–24. Campus attendance percentages reported for 2024–25 were Canton High School (CHS) 95.0 percent, Canton Junior High (CJH) 95.8 percent, Canton Intermediate (CIS) 95.5 percent and Canton Elementary School (CES) 94.98 percent.
