County renews employee wellness services contract; current coach to retire June 1

Charlton County commissioners authorized County Administrator Glenn Hull to execute the annual agreement with Corporate Health Partners, LLC (operating as Engagement Health Group) to provide employee wellness services for the next 18 months.
Rebecca Harden, the county's Director of Administrative Services, presented the renewal and told the board County Attorney John Adams had reviewed the agreement and recommended changes that have been made. Harden said the funds are available in the county's group insurance budget.
Commissioner Luke Gowen moved to authorize the administrator to execute the agreement; Commissioner Jesse Crews seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Harden also informed the board that the current wellness coach will retire June 1 and that the incoming coach is local to the Southeast Georgia area.
The agreement covers employee wellness programs funded through group insurance funds; no additional county-wide appropriation was recorded at the meeting.
