Bridge City Independent School District trustees heard an update on plans for a Performing Arts Center from Will Clayton of Claycomb Architects during a Sept. 3 work session at the district administration building in Bridge City.
The presentation covered layout options and design considerations for the proposed facility and was attended by representatives from G&G Construction Enterprises. The update was informational; no formal vote or decision was recorded.
Trustees present were Thad Hill, Judy Cole, Rebecca Rutledge, Paul Zoch, Mark Anderson, Jerry McInnis and Mike Johnson. School staff in attendance included Superintendent Dr. Mike Kelly, Chief Financial Officer Tim Woolley, Communications Director Dawn Martin and High School Principal Dr. Amanda James. The work session was called to order at 6:05 p.m. and adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
