At the Sept. 9 meeting trustees approved renewal of the district’s Ameriflex flexible-spending account plans and a modest increase in the maximum employee FSA deduction. A trustee moved to approve raising the maximum deduction from $3,200 to $3,300 and to set the dependent-care account limit at $5,000; the board voted 5–0 to approve the changes.

District staff described the change as an employee benefit adjustment; the board did not attach additional conditions or amendments to the renewal at the meeting.
