At the Sept. 9 meeting the board approved one-time Medicaid stipends of $1,500 each for three employees: Kelly Scott, Jennifer Jennings and Madison Evans. Board members voted 5–0 to approve the stipends after district staff reported Medicaid billings had generated roughly $75,000 in revenue to date, above an anticipated $60,800.

District staff recommended the stipends as a use of the Medicaid revenue stream; the motion to approve the three $1,500 stipends passed without dissent. The board did not discuss creating an ongoing stipend policy; the action at the meeting was a single approval of the three named payments.
