The Splendora Independent School District Board of Trustees approved the Student Handbook for the 2025-2026 school year on Aug. 11 during a special meeting at the district administration building in Splendora, Texas.

The handbook provides district-level rules and guidance for students and families for the coming school year. Trustees voted 6-0 to adopt the handbook after the board reconvened from closed session.

Trustee Kimberly Klepcyk, secretary, made the motion to approve the Student Handbook, and Trustee Jennifer Stewart, member, seconded the motion. The board recorded the vote as For 6, Against 0; the minutes show the motion "Passes." The minutes list Trustee Brandon Fry as absent.

The minutes do not record additional discussion or amendments to the handbook item during the open meeting. The board did not record further direction to staff for changes in the minutes for this item.

The approved handbook applies for the 2025-2026 school year.
