The Splendora Independent School District Board of Trustees on Aug. 18 approved a group of routine consent items, including prior meeting minutes, financial reports, accounts payable and the 2025–2026 Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraisal calendar and list of teacher appraisers.

Trustee Kimberly Klepcyk moved the consent agenda and Trustee Barry Welch seconded. The motion as recorded lists the July 21, 2025 Regular Meeting Minutes; July 30, 2025 Board Workshop Minutes; Aug. 11, 2025 Special Board Minutes; financials; tax report; investment report; accounts payable; the 2025–2026 T-TESS appraisal calendar and list of teacher appraisers; the Enrollment and Mobility report; and the Gifted and Talented Universal Screening (EHB) policy.

Earlier in the meeting the minutes note that the Enrollment report had been pulled to be discussed at a later date; however, the text of the recorded motion shows the Enrollment and Mobility report included in the items approved in the consent motion. The minutes do not resolve that apparent sequencing inconsistency beyond recording the final motion and vote.

The board voted 5-0 in favor of the consent motion. No members of the public spoke during the meeting’s public-comment period, according to the minutes.
