Splendora Independent School District Board of Trustees approved the Student Code of Conduct for the 2025-2026 school year on Aug. 11 during a special meeting at the district administration building in Splendora, Texas.

The policy sets the district's behavioral rules and consequences for students for the upcoming school year. Trustees voted 6-0 to adopt the code after the board reconvened from closed session.

Trustee Barry Welch, assistant secretary, made the motion to approve the Student Code of Conduct, and Trustee Dan Muirhead, vice president, seconded the motion. The board recorded the vote as 6 in favor and 0 against; the minutes note the motion "Passes." Trustee Brandon Fry was listed as absent in the meeting attendance.
