The Lawrenceville City Council convened an executive session on Sept. 3, 2025, to discuss personnel, litigation and real estate. The motion to move into executive session was made by Council Member Austin Thompson and seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Victoria Jones; the roll call vote was recorded as unanimous (Mayor David Still, Council Member Bruce Johnson, Mayor Pro-Tem Victoria Jones, Council Member Austin Thompson, Council Member Marlene Taylor-Crawford). The council later voted to adjourn the executive session, a motion made by Council Member Thompson and seconded by Council Member Johnson; that motion also passed unanimously. The meeting minutes report that nine real estate matters and one legal matter were discussed and that no votes were taken during the executive session. The council then adjourned the work session.
