Council approves multiple property purchases and intergovernmental agreements with DDA

The Lawrenceville City Council approved several property acquisitions and IGAs with the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) during the Sept. 22 meeting. Assistant City Manager Barry Mock and Chief Financial Officer Keith Lee presented related items and answered council questions. The council authorized a purchase-and-sale agreement for 101 Ridgecrest Dr (parcel R5143 236) and for 565 W Crogan St (parcel R5143 043), approved acquisition proceedings for 555 W Crogan St, and approved IGAs between the city and the DDA for the Eaton Street assemblage and for 94 E Crogan. Each motion authorized the mayor to execute agreements subject to review by the city attorney where noted. The motions passed unanimously.
