Council tables Belmont Drive parcel assemblage and Curtis Road soccer special-use permit

The Lawrenceville City Council withdrew and tabled two land-use items during the Sept. 22 meeting. City Manager Chuck Warbington asked that an item for on-demand underground electric distribution cable installation be administratively withdrawn from the agenda. Council also voted to table RZM2025-00021 (Belmont Drive parcel assemblage) to the Nov. 19 work session and regular meeting, and to table SUP2025-00109 (Soccer 5 Atlanta, 0 Curtis Road) to the Oct. 8 work session and the Oct. 27 regular meeting. The tablings were made by administrative request and by council motion; no public hearing or substantive council action on the merits of the Belmont Drive or Curtis Road applications occurred at this meeting. The city clerk’s records will reflect the new hearing dates.
