The Pendleton County Board of Education approved its consent agenda at the Aug. 18 meeting, adopting the items listed in the board packet. Superintendent Buerkley's recommendation to approve the consent agenda was adopted on a motion by Mr. Kevin Barnard, seconded by Mr. Derek Brown. The vote was unanimous: Griffin-Yes; Schack-Yes; Barnard-Yes; Beebe-Yes; Brown-Yes. Items recorded under the consent agenda included: board meeting minutes, the treasurer's report, 2025-26 daily schedules, an Imagination Library donation and orders of the treasurer. The minutes do not record separate discussion of these routine items. These routine approvals complete standard administrative business for the district and were adopted by a single recorded motion and vote.
