Trophy Club council adopts FY2026 budget, tax rate and six-year CIP; debt plan and business plan approved

The Trophy Club Town Council on Sept. 8 adopted the fiscal year 2026 budget, set the town’s ad valorem tax rate and approved the town’s six-year capital improvement program and debt financing plan. Staff presented the budget and supporting plans during the meeting; council approved the measures by roll-call and voice votes. April (staff presenter) summarized the budget and said the proposed tax rate is 0.412864 per $100 of assessed value, slightly lower than last year’s rate. “This budget reflects the town’s commitment to responsible financial stewardship while continuing to invest in the priorities identified by council and our community,” April said.
