The Pendleton County Board of Education approved the Kentucky Purchasing Cooperative (KPC) awards for school food vendors on Aug. 18. Superintendent Buerkley's recommendation to accept the KPC awards passed with a motion by Mr. Derek Brown and a second by Mrs. Amber Beebe. The vote was unanimous: Griffin-Yes; Schack-Yes; Barnard-Yes; Beebe-Yes; Brown-Yes. As recorded, the prime food and bread vendor product bid was awarded to Gordon Food Service and the dairy products bid was awarded to Reiter Dairy Company. The action implements KPC procurement results for district food-service purchasing. There was no recorded amendment or protest in the meeting minutes; the approvals were adopted by formal vote.
