The Edmonson County Board of Education unanimously approved a motion on Jan. 20 to record that a public hearing was held on an amended District Facilities Plan and to report that plan to the Kentucky Department of Education. Board Chair Alex Ulm moved the approval of the public hearing record and Member Melinda Campbell seconded; the vote was recorded in favor by Melinda Campbell, Alex Ulm, Mark Rich, Sean Sanders and Paul Forester. The board noted the plan was developed by the Local Planning Commission and will be reported to the Kentucky Department of Education; the transcript does not record further discussion of plan contents at the special session. The public hearing referenced in the motion was held at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2025, according to the board record.
