The Fairfield Community Schools Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda on Aug. 14 by a motion from Tyler Rensberger, seconded by Aaron Rink; the motion passed unanimously. The consent items included minutes of the July 10 meeting, claims totaling $2,128,964.36 and payroll claims totaling $1,247,751.47.
The consent agenda also recorded resignations, transfers and new employments. Resignations listed 13 employees, including Brittney Manges (Assistant Cafeteria Manager, New Paris Elementary) and John Kauffman (Varsity Boys Golf Coach). Transfers included three certified-staff moves. The employments list contained 12 named hires, among them Stephanie Elliott as Transportation Director and Krista Everdon as Jr.-Sr. High School English teacher. The board also approved two substitute employments.
No individual consent item was pulled for separate discussion in the minutes; the board acted on the bundle as recorded. The meeting minutes show no further conditions or follow-up motions attached to the consent vote.
