Representatives at the HSAC meeting reported that the New Jersey Children’s System of Care (CSOC) reopened its Assistive Technology program and family support services intake for eligible youth effective May 13, 2025.

Rick Hager of the Department of Children and Families Office of Outreach reported that CSOC is accepting new Family Support Services applications for Assistive Technology requests for youth with intellectual or developmental disabilities up to age 21. He said families may call Perform Care at 1-877-652-7624 to request services and complete the FSS application by phone. CSOC’s Family Support Services include Respite Care Services for eligible families, the report said.

Hager also noted DCF materials and brochures are available in English and Spanish and that the department will distribute its “Impact of Congressional Budget Discussions” document and other federal policy updates by email to interested stakeholders.
