At the July 17 regular meeting, the Cape May County Bridge Commission unanimously approved the minutes from its June 19 meeting, authorized payment of bills and approved four consent resolutions after a brief public-comment period.
Secretary/Treasurer Maryanne K. Murphy moved to open public comment on the consent agenda; Vice Chairman Scott Halliday seconded. Murphy then moved to close public comment and approve Resolutions 25-3793 through 25-3796; Halliday seconded and the motions carried unanimously.
The recorded resolutions included:
• Resolution 25-3793 authorizing the chairman to sign the officer’s certificate.
• Resolution 25-3794 certifying monthly deposits in the revenue account for May 2025 in the amount of $287,114.01.
• Resolution 25-3795 approving a ceiling amount for payments of health benefits and payroll expenses between Bridge Commission meetings.
• Resolution 25-3796 authorizing execution of an indemnification agreement with JLD Event Management and Timing for the 'Run the Crest' Half Marathon and 10 Miler.
