Board President Laura Haeberle asked for a motion; Board Secretary Jon Hooker made the motion to approve the handbook and Board Member Amanda Wooton seconded. The vote passed 5–0 (Brian McKinney, Dan Walker, Laura Haeberle, Jon Hooker, Amanda Wooton voted yes).
The handbook was presented as a draft attachment to the board packet; the board approved it as the district’s student conduct and policy guide for the 2025–26 school year. The board did not record any amendments to the document during the meeting.
The approval completes the second reading noted on the agenda; the district will publish the finalized handbook for staff, students and families according to usual distribution procedures.
