Laurie, a committee member, said the event signs for the Bring It event are ready and that an invoice will be sent from vendor Webloom for payment. "The signs are ready," Laurie said. She also said she already has the signs in her vehicle and that they "just need to be paid for."
The committee discussed asking vendors to stage on Municipal Street to reduce congestion at the Courtyard/Edwards entrance and considered arranging a longer queue or "snake" layout to add about 20 more cars without blocking through traffic. Darlene, a volunteer, offered to staff the shredder at the event if needed.
Members repeatedly raised that they do not have a clear accounting of how much of the event budget remains. Christian, a staff member, said he has "no visibility into how much money we've spent or are allotted" and that the group should wait for staff to check current expenditures before approving additional spending.
No formal motion or vote on new spending was recorded during the session. The discussion ended with organizers agreeing to inventory outstanding invoices (including one from Webloom) and to defer decisions about additional expenditures until staff provides an updated budget report.
