At its Aug. 28 meeting, the Kennedale Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of PZ Case 25-11, a replat of the property at 625 Grapevine Trail that would divide an existing commercial tract into individual lots for the structures on the site, City staff member Nathan said. The commission opened and closed the public hearing with no speakers signed up.
Nathan, a city staff member presenting the item, described the parcel as containing multiple existing metal commercial buildings and said the owner wishes to place each building on an individual lot, “probably the purpose of selling them or leasing them out.” He told commissioners the replat “meets all city requirements” and added, “we recommend approval of the replat at 625 Grapevine Trail.”
Commissioner Jones moved to recommend approval of PZ Case 25-11; Commissioner Martinez seconded the motion. With three commissioners present, the commission voted unanimously to recommend approval.
The discussion was limited to the staff presentation; no members of the public spoke on the item. The commission did not attach conditions or amendments during the hearing. The item will proceed in the city's review process as a Planning and Zoning recommendation as reflected in the motion recorded at the meeting.
