Garrard County EMS reports fuller staffing, higher run revenue and fewer flight calls

Sizemore said the service remains on budget and has sent staff to training courses, including a Field Training Officer program and a Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist class. She said EMS is working on Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI) protocols, the new truck is having a radio installed, and an EMT class starts this week.
The court voted to accept department updates after the reports. Magistrate Day moved to accept the updates and Magistrate Butner seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
