The Mississippi State Board of Public Accountancy accepted cash-in-treasury and FY2025 revenue and expenditure reports for Fund 3845 as of April 30, 2025, and a FY2025 year-to-date summary of budget authority, by motion of Charlie Prince, seconded by Richard Bullock.
Separately, the Board approved additional per diem days for members by motion of Willie Sims, seconded by Charlie Prince. The Board also reviewed out-of-state travel authorizations for June 2025 and amended a prior approval so that Board member Willie Sims will attend the NASBA Eastern Regional instead of the previously approved NASBA Western Regional; that change was approved by motion of Bill Kelly, seconded by Annette Pridgen.
Board minutes record these items as administrative approvals; no specific dollar amounts for per diems or travel reimbursements were included in the minutes. The executive director also briefed the Board on administrative matters including staff vacation schedules, new computer equipment for staff, opening of the CPE reporting system for the year ended June 30, 2025, and plans to fill a staff vacancy.
The Board meets next on Aug. 7, 2025, at the Board office.
