The Bristol Tennessee Board of Education approved two policies on first reading at the Aug. 18 meeting: Policy 4.600, Grading Systems, and Policy 5.200, Separation Practices for Tenured Teachers. Director of Schools Dr. Annette Tudor recommended approval; Debbie Darnell moved to approve and Jim Butcher seconded. The motion passed with votes from Jim Butcher, Jennifer Henson, Charlie Taylor, Debbie Darnell and Eric Cuddy.
