Director updates board on extended learning and Summer STREAM camp

Accelerated Learning and Data Analysis Director Kelli Campbell presented an update on the district’s extended learning programs and Summer STREAM Camp during the Aug. 18 Bristol Tennessee Board of Education meeting. Summer school administrators Jason Cross, Beth Light and Carlinda Shaw attended the presentation, along with Coalition for Kids Executive Director Randy Hensley and Regional Director Amy Strickland. The minutes record that the presentation occurred during the Hearing of Delegates section of the agenda; the record does not provide enrollment numbers, student outcomes, program budgets or detailed evaluation findings. Dr. Tudor and board members acknowledged the presentation as part of the hearing and special recognition portions of the meeting, and no formal action was recorded related to the update at that time.
