The Somerset County Board of County Commissioners introduced a bond ordinance on first reading, approved multiple resolutions and confirmed an appointment to the Culture and Heritage Advisory Committee during a public meeting.

The board moved to pass bond ordinance 25-13-99 on first reading, amending bond ordinance 25-7-97, and set a public hearing for Aug. 26. Commissioner Greener, Commissioner Drake, Commissioner Sui, Deputy Director Morano and Director Robinson all recorded "yes" on the roll call for the motion.

Members also approved a series of resolutions by roll call. The board approved resolution 25-13-63 appointing Steven Harlan of North Plainfield Borough to the Culture and Heritage Advisory Committee after a motion and roll-call vote in which the commissioners voted yes. The board then approved batches of numbered resolutions (such as 25-13-00 through 25-13-08 and additional listed ranges) by voice or roll-call votes as recorded in the meeting transcript.

The meeting opened a public comment period; no members of the public spoke and the public portion was closed. The transcript shows no executive session occurred and the meeting adjourned after the roll-call votes and the presentation items.
