Ryan Collingwood, representing the Community Development Department, introduced an application for a 100% voluntary annexation of the Ivy Ridge preserve area within Chatham Hills, addressed as 1303 East State Road 38. Collingwood said the annexation area is roughly 11.9 acres and that the item had been properly noticed and advertised for public hearing.

The council opened the public hearing at 7:43 p.m., saw no speakers, and closed the hearing at 7:43 p.m. Collingwood said the annexation will be eligible for adoption at the council’s next regular meeting on Sept. 9, when the fiscal plan and associated documents will be presented.

No action was taken on Aug. 25; staff indicated supporting exhibits and the location map are available in the meeting packet.
