Board leadership praised Griffin's record in instructional improvement, program innovation and grant acquisition. "We are incredibly thrilled that you're here," the chair said during the welcome. Dr. Griffin told the board she was "truly honored" to serve as superintendent and said she had already observed a strong sense of community pride in the district and looked forward to working with staff, students and families.
