Park County commissioners on Sept. 10 approved the county’s submission of the 2026 Victim Assistance in Law Enforcement grant application for the 11th Judicial District.
Sheriff’s Office staff and county officials said the grant is a routine, annual application and that the program amount for 2026 is approximately $138,000, as discussed at a prior work session. The board voted to approve the application and authorize county staff to proceed.
Commissioners described the item as a routine, recurring grant that the county processes each year and recorded no substantive debate at the public meeting.
