Staff presented the board’s demolition‑by‑neglect spreadsheet and said progress over the prior months had been uneven: several properties obtained certificates of appropriateness and completed work, while a small group of repeat offenders remain under active enforcement or will be referred to municipal court.
Shelby and Jan (staff) walked members through specific cases. Completed or progressing cases include 207 Lehi San Antonio (COA obtained), 413 East Main (COA submitted; some elements denied), 206 South Crockett (approved COA), and 258 East Main (work completed). Properties still requiring action include 513 West Main, 107 West San Antonio and 113 West San Antonio; code enforcement has initiated further contact and, for at least 513 West Main, issued a second notice and is preparing municipal court action.
Board members asked staff to continue regular follow‑up and to return properties to the board for site visits or further action when owners do not respond. Staff said they will email an expanded spreadsheet with additional enforcement columns and timelines and will pursue municipal‑court steps where notice and voluntary compliance have failed.
