Public comments urge Title IX parity for 'sideline' activities and call for servant leadership on new board

Board member Anna Klimkiewicz, speaking to the board during the same period, reflected on "servant leadership" as her guiding principle during her service and urged the new board to continue fostering inclusive programs and creative opportunities for all students, including performing arts and support for students with special needs. She thanked administrators by name and noted the district's strategic plan aim to provide every student with at least one caring adult.
Both speakers framed their remarks as appeals to board policy and culture rather than motions for immediate board action.
