Paul Carpenter elected president of Rockford School District 205 board; Nicole Bennett named vice president, June Stanford secretary

Board members first moved to close nominations for each office; the motion to close nominations passed by roll call unanimously in each instance. For the president's office, members cast votes by saying the name of their chosen candidate; the board announced Paul Carpenter had five votes and Tianna McCall had two.

Later in the meeting the board voted to approve the proposed schedule for regular board meetings in February. The motion to approve the February meeting schedule passed by unanimous roll-call vote.
