The Board of Education of the School District of New Berlin approved routine business items Thursday, including minutes, financial reports and two donations totaling $5,968 to Eisenhower High School programs. The board also approved a semiannual Neola policy update (34‑2), new human resources policies and policy adjustments related to compliance officer changes.
Board member Mr. Seidel made the motions for the consent agenda and each policy approval; Ms. Connick seconded those motions. The donation report read aloud to the board showed $969 from the Eisenhower baseball booster club for tournament expenses and $4,999 from the Eisenhower football booster club for end‑zone filming equipment, bringing the total donations for the report to $5,968.
For the Neola update, board members had no discussion and approved the item on the second read. The board likewise approved proposed human resources policies and the set of policies affected by changes to the district’s designated compliance officer.
Board members postponed a vote on the 2025–26 board goals and guardrails because three members were absent; Mr. Zielinski moved to postpone and Ms. Konik seconded. The board indicated it would take up goals at the next meeting.
All approvals were recorded by voice/hand vote with the chair calling for those in favor; the motions passed as presented.
