Buildings & Grounds reports 26 completed work orders for July; no high-priority backlogs reported

The Germantown School District Buildings & Grounds Committee was told Aug. 5 that staff closed 26 work orders between July 8 and July 30, 2025, and that none remained open longer than 45 days. The update mattered because it signals current maintenance throughput: Buildings & Grounds staff presented the July work-order completion report and fielded committee questions on trends and summer staffing. Frank Lord, Buildings & Grounds staff, said the department uses the Dude Solutions system to schedule and track maintenance and that the report “provides a description, priority level, location, days, age, request date, which is the date submitted, and completion date of the work orders completed between July 8 and 07/30/2025.” Lord said the priority mix was “26 medium” and that the total is “a fair amount less than what we’ve had in prior months.” Lord told the committee the lower count is not unusual for July and August because many projects are summer work and some items closed in June but were recorded in July. He said district building tours showed more active work across campuses than the raw number suggested. Committee members asked for clarification on trends and for continued monthly reporting. No formal vote was required for the informational report.
