Assistant city manager and staff told the council the franchisee has operated about 18 facilities in the community for roughly two years. The amendment extends the franchise term and slightly reduces the fees charged to the provider. Staff recommended adoption and the council approved the resolution unanimously.
No public comment was received and councilors had no substantive questions. Staff said the change will allow continued operation of the facilities under the updated fee schedule and term.
