On Sept. 2, 2025, Lewis County commissioners approved a resolution authorizing signatures on a local agency agreement and a federal-aid prospectus to obligate construction funds for the Sears Hill Bridge project.
Jeff Zarquist, Lewis County public works director, presented the item and said the signatures are required to obligate federal construction funds for the project. The board approved the action 3-0 as part of the package of deliberation items.
The county did not provide a construction-cost total or funding split during the Sept. 2 public deliberation. Staff did not identify additional implementation dates or a construction schedule during the presentation; those details will be recorded in project documents and future staff reports.
