Lewis County commissioners on Sept. 2 approved a notice setting a public hearing at 10 a.m. on Sept. 23 for the county's periodic comprehensive plan update.
Sarah (staff) told the board the notice will be published in the county's legal newspaper of record on Sept. 2 and that written testimony may be sent beginning Sept. 2 to mindy.brooks@lewiscountywah.gov. She emphasized that written testimony should not be submitted through the VOC comment form or sent directly to commissioners, so the county can maintain a proper record; oral testimony will be accepted at the Sept. 23 hearing.
The commissioners approved publishing the notice and setting the hearing by a 3-0 vote.
