Council approves Richmond High School Homecoming parade, directs MDOT closure request

The Richmond City Council approved a request from Richmond High School to hold its annual Homecoming Parade on Main Street on Friday, Sept. 26, and directed the city clerk to apply to the Michigan Department of Transportation for permission to close M‑19 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for the parade. The route will line up at Festival Drive, proceed to Washington Street to Main, travel south on Main to Division, and end at the high school parking lot.
