Dr. Dwayne Clark, a family physician with SSM and Fond du Lac Regional Clinic, addressed the council during audience comments on Aug. 20 to report the Friends of the Loop volunteer group is active and partnering with city and county officials. Clark asked the council to continue supporting the Loop, saying volunteers have met with staff including Diane Benson, Paul DeVries and others.
Clark said the group’s goal is to improve the loop, boost community vitality and create a bicycle‑friendly destination. He asked for the council’s endorsement and continued cooperation on efforts to develop the Loop’s amenities and safety features.
