The Pasadena ISD Board of Trustees on Aug. 26 approved awarding the on-site clinic contract (CSP-26-002L) to H2 PISD PLLC with an estimated 2026 cost of $922,073. The motion to award the contract carried by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
Board members and staff described the district clinic as heavily used by employees — about 600 staff visits per month — and said the clinic helps with recruitment and retention. Board President Kenny Fernandez and other trustees thanked clinic staff and noted the clinic’s connection to the local health-care ecosystem; a trustee observed the clinic’s affiliation with HCA Healthcare in the community.
The vote followed presentations recognizing the RED program rebate and introductions of vendor representatives; district staff emphasized continued value of the clinic for employee health services. The board carried the contract award by voice vote with no dissents recorded.
