At its September 2025 meeting, the Sylvania Board of Education approved a consent agenda that included acceptance of donated computer monitors for a school, amendments to student handbooks and a series of personnel actions.

A board member recommended accepting a donation of 24-inch computer monitors to Whiteford Elementary School from Alex Marsh; the board approved the gift. The board approved an amendment to student handbooks and then approved personnel items on a consent-agenda basis, including licensed retirements, licensed substitutes, licensed unpaid leaves and other licensed personnel changes; classified new hires, retirements and resignations; athletic volunteer appointments and supplemental positions for the 2025-26 school year.

During approvals the board offered congratulations to employees and community members mentioned by staff, including Sabrina Princess and Kathleen. The actions were presented on the consent agenda, moved and seconded with no substantive debate recorded and were approved by affirmative votes from board members present.
