The City of Pasco City Council voted unanimously Sept. 8 to invite four applicants to interview for the open District 4 council seat.
Councilman Pro Tem Grama moved to approve Joe Cada, Patrick Jones, Abel Campos and Tanya Bowers as finalists for interviews; Councilwoman Blaisdale seconded the motion and the roll-call vote passed unanimously.
The interviews are scheduled for a special meeting on Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, starting at 6 p.m., and the council expects to appoint a person to the seat immediately following interviews. City staff said they will prepare the set of interview questions in advance and circulate them to council.
The action follows a public meeting process that the council said is intended to let the body evaluate qualifications and select a replacement so the new member can take a seat on the dais at the next regular meeting.
No votes or comments altering the interview schedule were recorded. The council did not take any further formal action at the Sept. 8 session beyond approving the interview list and confirming the September interview date and start time.
