Town staff and commissioners said the legislation currently before the board would make short-term rentals possible only in nonresidential districts; the board did not take a vote on the ordinance at the Sept. 2 meeting and the item remains scheduled for the Sept. 15 meeting. No public testimony was taken on the ordinance at the Sept. 2 meeting; commissioners invited interested residents to the Sept. 15 public hearing for additional discussion and public comment.
