Council approves three-year Microsoft enterprise agreement with Softchoice for $825,007.78

Purchasing staff presented a recommendation to award a three-year Microsoft enterprise licensing agreement to Softchoice Corporation for a total bid of $825,007.78, to be paid in three annual installments. The council voted to approve the award.

Purchasing staff said the solicitation was opened previously and Softchoice submitted the recommended bid. "It's for a 3 year enterprise agreement for Microsoft licensing with a total bid amount of $825,007.78 dollars and 33¢. And it'll be paid in 3 annual installments," the presenter said. Council members had no questions and approved the recommendation by voice vote.

This action authorizes the city to enter into the three-year enterprise agreement with Softchoice; the transcript does not show additional contract terms such as renewals, service levels or implementation dates. The motion to approve the award was made and seconded and the vote was recorded as "aye."
