Commissioners approve local board appointments, including America250 committee slot

Lebanon County commissioners approved several appointments to local boards and committees, including a recommendation to appoint Brett Balmer to a local board and a separate appointment of Pam Giacomo to the county’s America250 committee.

County staff presented a communication recommending Brett Balmer’s appointment to a local board (packet materials and resume to be provided to commissioners after the meeting). Commissioners questioned whether a resume had been included in the packet; staff said Balmer had been part of the prior applicant pool and that interview panels had vetted candidates in public interviews.

Separately, commissioners approved the appointment of Pam Giacomo to the America250 committee after receiving a letter of recommendation from the commission chair. Commissioners described Giacomo as a hard worker and welcomed her to the committee; the appointment was approved by voice vote.

Staff will file required appointment paperwork and update board rosters.
