On Sept. 2 the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 8-0 to approve a preliminary replat for a religious facility expansion filed by Redeemed Christian Church of God, Heaven's Glorious Embassy Incorporated. The site is on an 11.9-acre lot located on the south side of Parker Road, about 955 feet east of Los Rios Boulevard; the property is zoned agricultural.
Planning staff said the purpose of the preliminary replat is to dedicate and abandon easements necessary for the proposed building expansion. No registered public speakers addressed the item, and staff recommended approval. Commissioner Bronski moved to approve "as recommended by staff" and Commissioner Lingenfelter seconded; the motion passed 8-0.
Because this item was listed for administrative consideration, the commission acted on staff recommendation and no additional stipulations were recorded at the meeting.
