Plano commissioners table Heritage Houses Addition replat to Sept. 15

Commissioners voted 8-0 to table a request to replat six urban residential lots at I Avenue and Seventeenth Street to the Sept. 15 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting at the applicant's request.
The City of Plano Planning and Zoning Commission on Sept. 2 voted 8-0 to table consideration of a preliminary replat for Heritage Houses Addition, Block A, Lots 1 through 6. The site is a 1.3-acre parcel at the southwest corner of I Avenue and 17th Street within the Haggard Park Heritage Resource Overlay District; the applicant is Jean Liu Design LLC.
Planning staff, represented at the hearing by Senior Planner John Kim, said the applicant asked to postpone the case to the Sept. 15, 2025 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. Kim told commissioners the applicant had been informed that, if postponed to Sept. 15, the commission could not postpone it again and would need to act at that meeting.
Commissioner Brunoff moved to table the item to Sept. 15; Commissioner Bender seconded. The motion passed 8-0.
The tabling preserves the current schedule and allows the applicant to return with any revised materials on Sept. 15. No public speakers registered on the item at the Sept. 2 meeting.
